You don't need a car here; you can easily reach everything by bus, bicycle, foot or taxi.
There are already some developed bike paths, including rental bikes, as Merida wants to become a bike city. The tourist police travel with small electric vehicles, which are always an attraction.
In three minutes you can reach the park in front of the church of Santa Isabelle la Ermita, where you can cool off until late in the evening or buy snacks from street vendors.

Our house is located in the traditional Ermita neighborhood of Merida in the tropical south of Mexico.
La Ermita is a traditional, very popular neighborhood in the historic center of the Yucatan capital, within walking distance of the Zocalo, the central bus station and just 15 minutes by car from the airport.
You can rent our house.
At Work and Travel it costs you zero euros.

Directions

 

You can reach our house on foot within 10 minutes from the central bus station of ADO. Of course you can also do this with one of the many taxis. From the airport it is 15 minutes by car. A shuttle bus runs from there to the central bus station every half hour.
If you land in Cancun by plane, you can also take the bus from there to Merida. This takes approximately 4 hours. Find out about departure times or book in advance. Buses leave every hour from the central bus station in Cancun. Buses from the airport only run until early afternoon.
